Local Partners go Beyond the Build with Back to School Boil

Despite rainy weather, Batson Associates partnered with ARCO Design/Build and Downtown Presbyterian Church to host the first Back-to-School Boil in Greenville, SC. The event united the local Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) community to support Berea Elementary School through donations of supplies and funds. Guests enjoyed a traditional Lowcountry Boil featuring shrimp from Pawley’s Island, while contributing generously. Thanks to the community’s support, enough supplies were collected to fill a Dodge 2500 pickup truck. All donations will benefit Berea Elementary’s community.

Nestled in the quiet serenity of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, the Monastery of St. Clare stands as a testament to thoughtful design, enduring relationships, and sacred purpose. Completed in 2008 after four years of collaboration, this 25,285-square-foot sanctuary is more than just a building—it’s a spiritual home for the nuns residing at Poor St. Clare’s and a project that continues to hold deep meaning for everyone involved.

Batson Associates Expands Healthcare Access with New St. Joseph’s/Candler Campus

Batson Associates, a leading healthcare and senior living architecture firm, continues to make a lasting impact on the Southeast with the completion of Phase 1 of the St. Joseph’s/Candler Black Creek Campus in Bryan County, Georgia. In collaboration with St. Joseph’s/Candler, Batson Associates played a pivotal role in designing the new medical office building, which will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 10th.
