DWAYNE & CYNTHIA WILLET CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF SAVANNAH GRAPHICS & BRANDING PACKAGE

Children's Hospital - Wall Graphics (30

PROJECT SUMMARY

The goal for this project was to create a set of images/graphics that reflect the surrounding area of Savannah, GA. Through the development of these images, our team presented the idea that a branded group of characters would help to enhance the overall design of the hospital, as well as create a cast of characters that would connect with both the staff, as well as the community.

Once it was decided that Characters would be incorporated into the design, research and development took place to create designs that would be inclusive to a wide range of people (gender, race, physical characteristics, etc.) all while maintaining a consistent illustration style.  These characters were then applied to either large metal sheets for exterior application, or rigid sheets for interior use, and were scattered throughout the hospital, creating an environment for children that focuses on fun.

Please note that this project was performed by the interiors team while with Cuffie Creek Design. Architecture and Interior Design Services performed by Architect of Record Perkins + Will.

"Around the Children’s Hospital, you’ll see murals of several UNIQUE characters doing things that kids like to do. These characters were designed especially for our hospital. Meet Chatham, George, Savannah, Skidaway, and Tybee."
