TREEHOUSEpersp.jpg

PROJECT SUMMARY

The “Treetop Clinic” was designed and constructed by Batson Associates and Triangle Construction for the Roper Mountain Science Center’s Out on a Limb Tree-house competition.

The structure serves as an environmental science exploration center for after-school programs, summer camp groups, and RMSC visitors. Three distinct spaces that drive the form of the tree-house: the Rainwater Platform, Solar Deck, and Meadow Overlook. The tree-house was designated the President’s Choice as voted by the Roper Mountain Science Center Board of Directors.
